A stone’s throw from the glamorous resort of Saint-Tropez, the Ultimate Provence Hotel nestles within a 46-hectare organic wine-growing area. The Monaco-based architects’ firm Humbert & Poyet converted the ancient vineyard in southern France into a retreat that perfectly combines elegance, functionality, and aesthetics. The successful interplay of tradition and contemporary design runs through the entire hotel interior, right up to the 15 rooms with their urbane and inviting atmosphere. The bathrooms are equipped with timelessly modern DuraSquare washbasins and matching matt-black metal frames: an accomplished design statement.

Mediterranean tones, modern materials

The reinterpretation of the vineyard combines relaxing Mediterranean tones with modern materials like concrete paired with sophisticated elements such as oak, marble, brass, or leather. Everything blends harmoniously together while retaining a unique character that bears the unmistakable signature of Humbert & Poyet.

Timelessly modern bathroom interior

The concept extends into the hotel’s bathrooms: tiles in white and restrained tones paired with matt black, contemporary elements provide the perfect start to the day and a relaxed close to the evening. The contemporary look is enhanced with DuraSquare washbasins from Duravit made from high-quality DuraCeram®. The design blends the precise edges of the outer rectangular form with the organic flow of the inner contours. The metal console in Matt Black is a true eye-catcher, not only lending the washbasin a cool finish but also increasing storage area thanks to the integrated glass shelf.
