Established in 1932, the Excelsior is one of the most prestigious hotels in Milan. Comprising two buildings, it includes the fully restored historic palazzo plus a new wing featuring a steel and glass facade. The interiors and furnishings offer a mix of contemporary design and Art Deco influences. The Design Suites – which pay homage to Milan’s contributors to the world of design and architecture (Vico Magistretti, Achille Castiglioni, Giò Ponti, Luigi Caccia Dominioni and Franco Albini) – are furnished with iconic products created by these designers.
